Audit trail & change history for Jira
Vellum captures who changed what, and when — including the deletions, comment edits, moves and worklogs native history forgets — into a searchable, retention-controlled audit trail. Built entirely on Atlassian Forge, with zero external egress.
View on the Atlassian Marketplace → Documentation & how to test →Field edits and transitions, comments and comment edits, worklogs, issue links (on both sides), attachments, and deletions — each with attribution snapshotted at the moment it happened and a per-record integrity hash.
No third-party servers, no data transfer. Everything is stored in Atlassian-hosted storage on Forge — the plain answer to “where does our audit data go?” is: nowhere.
A cross-project admin console, a per-issue timeline, and a project report with search, filters, and CSV / print-to-PDF export carrying a provenance header and content checksum. Retention is configurable and honored consistently. Reports respect Jira project and issue-level security.
